How does B2B appointment setting actually work?

The Attended Meeting System, our five steps. We build it, run it, and optimize it. You just take the calls.

01

Step 01

Sending Infrastructure

Your emails land in primary, not spam.

We build a completely separate sending setup: 10-20 branded sending domains, a few inboxes on each, full DNS authentication (DMARC, SPF, DKIM), and a dedicated warm-up on every one. Each inbox sends 20-30 emails a day, which looks like a person, not a machine. Volume scales by adding inboxes, never by pushing one inbox harder.

Your main domain stays untouched. Zero risk to your existing email reputation.

Most agencies skip this. Their clients end up in spam within 2 weeks.

02

Step 02

Lead Sourcing

Clean data, real decision-makers.

Multi-source scraping via Apollo, LinkedIn, and custom databases. Strict ideal customer profile (ICP) filtering by job title, industry, company size, revenue, and tech stack.

Every email triple-verified before it enters a sequence. Bounce rate stays below 2%.

03

Step 03

Multi-Angle Copy

Personalized, not templated.

We draft 4-5 different sequence angles. AI personalizes every email based on recent news, hiring data, or LinkedIn activity.

It reads like human-to-human interaction, not a template blast.

04

Step 04

Campaign Optimization

Active management, not set-and-forget.

Daily monitoring of inbox placement, reply rates, and bounce rates, per sequence, per angle, per audience segment. We kill underperforming angles, scale the winners, and introduce new copy every 2-3 weeks.

Most agencies launch and forget. We cannot afford to: we do not get paid until a meeting is attended.

Step 05

Response Handling & Booking

When a prospect replies, a person answers, usually within the hour during business hours. We handle the objection, answer the question, and put the call on your calendar.

Handled by a person, not a bot

This is where most self-run campaigns die. The reply lands, nobody answers for two days, and the interest is gone.

Subject: Saw the Chicago expansion, congrats

Hey Sarah,

Noticed Apex just opened the Chicago office. That's a big move. Usually the sales side feels it about two quarters later.

We book qualified meetings for logistics firms on a pay-per-meeting basis. Might be worth 15 minutes if scaling the sales team is on the radar.

Who actually runs your campaign?

Me. Directly. No junior account manager in between.

I started New Lead Consulting because the agency model is backwards. You pay a retainer up front, a junior account manager learns the job on your budget, and the risk sits entirely on your side of the table.

So I built the opposite. You work with me directly. I keep the client count low on purpose, because outbound lead generation done properly is hands-on work and it does not survive being spread thin.

And I only get paid when a meeting is attended. If the campaign does not produce, I have worked for a tech fee. That is the whole arrangement, and it is why I will tell you on the call if I do not think it will work for your offer.

What do we handle, and what do you handle?

Fully managed sales development. We do the work, you close the deals.

What you handle

  • Show up to the sales calls
  • Close deals

    What does this actually cost?

An in-house SDR costs roughly $8,000 a month before they book anything. A retainer agency charges $5,000 to $20,000 up front and bills you whether it works or not. We charge a tech fee for the infrastructure and $300 per qualified meeting that attends. Nothing else.

    Frequently asked questions.

    Isn't cold email just spam?
No, and the difference is not a matter of opinion. Spam is ten thousand identical emails from one account to a scraped list. What we send is targeted, verified, one-to-one outreach from authenticated infrastructure, with a real sender identity, an honest subject line and a working opt-out on every message. The rules differ by country: CAN-SPAM in the United States, legitimate interest under GDPR in Europe, and Canada's anti-spam law (CASL), which is stricter and requires express or implied consent. We follow the rules of wherever your prospect sits, and we will tell you on the call which markets are straightforward and which are not.
    What if it doesn't work?
Then you paid a small tech fee and that's it. We don't make real money unless we book you meetings. That's the whole point: our incentives are completely aligned with yours. We also don't take on clients we don't think we can deliver for.
Does this work for my industry?
Cold email works in any B2B market where your competitors run outbound. The channel is not the variable, the offer is. On the call we look at your ICP, deal size and competitive landscape and tell you honestly whether this is a fit. We don't take clients we can't deliver for, because our revenue depends on it.
How long until I see meetings?
Week 1 is onboarding. Weeks 2-3 we build the infrastructure, source your list and write the sequences. Campaigns go live in weeks 3-4. First replies land within 48-72 hours, first meetings on your calendar within 7-14 days of launch. From month 2 on it's continuous optimization.
What counts as a "qualified meeting"?
A qualified meeting is a call with someone who matches the ideal customer profile (ICP) we agreed on in writing, who came from our outreach, and who actually showed up. No-shows do not count. Anyone outside your criteria does not count. That is the only thing you are ever billed for, on top of the monthly tech fee.
How many emails are we talking about?
Between 1,000 and 3,000 a day once the infrastructure is fully warmed, spread across dedicated sending inboxes. Each inbox sends only 20-30 a day, which is what a person sends. We scale by adding inboxes, never by pushing one inbox harder. That is why it lands in primary instead of spam.
Will this hurt my domain reputation?
No. We never send from your primary domain. We set up completely separate sending domains that redirect to your website. Full DNS authentication, dedicated warm-up, horizontal scaling. Your main domain stays clean no matter what.
Do I need to do anything after onboarding?
Almost nothing. You approve email copy and lead lists during setup. After launch, you spend about 10 minutes a week looking at our report. We handle everything else. You just show up to the calls we book.
